Standard series railroad spike knives are made exclusively with newly purchased, high carbon solid railroad spikes. They are forged, twisted, ground, heat treated, and sharpened to a razor edge. This series includes models with a variety of differently twisted handles. They vary in style with the most common types being the reverse 180, or 180 reverse 90 degree twist. Grind styles include single beveled edges, and flat grinds (full taper from spine to edge). Each knife comes with its own handmade made leather sheath.
